Brusino-Arsizio is situated snugly on Lake Lugano. It belongs to the political community of Lugano, but touristically, it is counted to the fertile and densely populated Mendrisiotto.
The Mendrisiotto is the southernmost tip of Switzerland and thus has, not surprisingly, a mediterranean climate.
