Goms, the northeastern part of the Valais. The valley stretches from Grengiols to the Rhône glacier.

The landscape of the upper Rhône River is well known for its pristine beauty and wonderful tranquility. It is easily accessible by car and train throughout the year. Relax in our inns, enjoy excellent cuisine and visit taverns typical of the area.

The Goms has 70 Baroque churches and chapels, Gothic altars and other cultural treasures. You will find arts and crafts, concerts and traditional theater and folklore performances. The village of Ernen is famous for its annual master classes in singing and organ playing. It is also host to the Festival of the Future.

Events and activities include slide shows, village tours, baking and cheese making shows, play afternoons, fishing, hang gliding, volleyball and crazy-golf tournaments.
